Seoul Grand Park admission fees and hours: zoo, Theme Garden and botanical garden

Seoul Grand Park charges ₩5,000 for an adult at the zoo and ₩2,000 at the Theme Garden (individual tickets, age 19 to 64), with teens (13 to 18) at ₩3,000 and ₩1,500 and children (6 to 12) at ₩2,000 and ₩1,000. Visitors aged 5 and under or 65 and over enter the zoo and Theme Garden free. The zoo is open every day of the year; hours are 09:00 to 18:00 in March, April, September and October. The botanical garden's greenhouse is closed for work from 2026-09-29 to 2026-10-31 (planned).

- The tickets are valid on the day of purchase only.
- Group tickets are for 30 or more people, discounted by up to 30%, and one ticket is issued for the group.
- Which row covers the botanical garden? The fee table has a Zoo row and a Theme Garden row. The botanical garden page lists hours but no price, so the page alone does not say which row applies to the greenhouse and the outdoor themed garden. Ask at the ticket office.
Free entry and discounts, as printed
- Free at the zoo and Theme Garden: children aged 5 and under; visitors aged 65 and over; people with a severe disability (with one guardian) and with a less severe disability (the person); patriots and grade 1 to 3 national merit holders (with a guardian); other national merit and veteran groups; basic livelihood recipients; and pregnant women under the Seoul ordinance. Free and discount tickets are issued at staffed ticket windows.
- Climate Companion Card: a holder gets 50% off, subject to checking that the card is valid (see our Climate Card page).
- Multi-child family cards from Seoul or Gyeonggi: free entry after ID check. Cards issued by other provinces do not qualify.
- Package at the zoo main gate (sold May to October only): zoo plus Theme Garden, adult ₩7,000 reduced to ₩5,600, teen ₩4,500 to ₩3,600, child ₩3,000 to ₩2,400.
- Online tickets: the page's tip says that buying an online ticket on a weekday gives 20% off, as does the zoo plus Theme Garden package.
The page does not mention a separate rule for foreign visitors. The free-entry age rules apply by age; bring a passport or ID that shows your age.

- The zoo has no closing day (365 days a year). Entry is allowed until one hour before closing.
- The page asks visitors to understand that animals may go indoors early depending on weather or their condition.
- Greenhouse closure: the botanical garden greenhouse is temporarily closed from 2026-09-29 to 2026-10-31 (planned, may change) for building renovation; the herbarium and the outdoor themed garden operate normally.
