Korea trip cost calculator: add up transport, data, K-ETA and tickets
Numbers checked against the official source on 2026-10-19
Add up the fixed costs of a trip to Korea — airport transfer, local transport, a data plan, K-ETA and the main admission tickets — using only official prices that we have already checked against each operator's or agency's own page. Every line of the result links to the page the number comes from.

- Korea Trip Budget Planner 2026 (.xlsx) — 1 to 30 days, Seoul and Busan, airport transfer options, Seoul transport comparison (pay per ride vs Climate Card passes), KT data, K-ETA, 12 tickets, your own hotel and food lines, a currency box for your own exchange rate, and a before-you-fly checklist.
- 3-day Seoul sample (.xlsx) — a ready-filled short version.
We checked the spreadsheet against this calculator: seven test trips give the same totals to the won. The files contain no macros.
How the total is built
- Airport: one fare each way. The taxi option shows a range because the official airport taxi fares are set by zone.
- Seoul transport: pay-per-ride uses the adult card subway fare (₩1,550) for every ride plus the ₩4,000 Tmoney card. It ignores free transfers and distance surcharges, so a real total can be a little lower or higher — see the subway and bus calculator. The Climate Card option covers your Seoul days with the cheapest mix of 1-, 2-, 3-, 5- and 7-day passes plus the ₩3,000 card.
- Busan: the cheaper of rides × ₩1,600 or the ₩6,000 one-day pass, per Busan day.
- Data: the smallest KT data-only plan that covers the number of days. Other carriers' prices could not be read from their official pages.
- Tickets: adult prices. Many sights are free — the National Museum of Korea and the National Folk Museum charge nothing (museum page).
Not included: accommodation, food, shopping, KTX trains, child and senior prices, and discounts. Prices change; every figure here is copied from the linked page, which shows the official source and the date it was checked. If you compare a time-based pass, see the Discover Seoul Pass page (72-hour pass ₩90,000).
