About Korea Costs
Korea Costs is a small independent reference for people coming to Korea — tourists, exchange students, and foreign workers. It is not a government site and is not affiliated with any agency or company mentioned here.
How we get the numbers
- We open the official page that publishes the number: the city or ministry fare table, the agency notice, the carrier's own price page, or the law text.
- We copy the number from the table itself, not from a search summary or a third-party blog. Search summaries often repeat fares from before a price change.
- We write down the date shown on the official table ("as of …") and the date we read it. Both appear on every page.
- When two official pages disagree — for example one page says "up to 4 transfers" and another "up to 5 free transfers" — we quote both and explain what each one means.
- Calculators on this site only use the rules the official page states. If the page does not state a rule, the calculator does not guess it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell tickets, SIM cards or visa services ourselves. Some pages include clearly labelled affiliate links (Klook). If you book through one we may earn a commission; it never changes the official numbers on this site.
- We do not give legal or immigration advice. For decisions that matter, confirm with the agency on the linked page.
Corrections
If an official page now shows a different number, email us from the contact page with the page link. We re-check and update the page and its check date.
